Breakout Lacrosse  2010 HS Tournament Team

Register Today Breakout Flare

For the third year, Breakout Lacrosse is fielding a High School Tournament team.   The 2010 team will build on successes and lessons learned from previous years. We will continue to use our experience as players and coaches at the high school and college level to develop our players and challenge ourselves against the best in the country. Our 3 goals for our teams:

  • To be the best team in the DC area
  • Return the players to their teams better than we received them
  • Prepare players to get recruited and play at the college level

Our coaches employ three pillars of skill, knowledge and concept improvement. This method will build on the current foundation to exceed their current level of play

  • Introduce and instruct advance skills
  • Develop skills with specific drills
  • Execute the skills in a tournament environment.

We will attend 3 Tournaments this summer - These tournaments will expose our players to high levels of lacrosse and place them in front of college coaches.

  • Ultimate Performance Lacrosse in Annapolis, MD (June 24th)
  • Gait Cup at Gettysburg College (July 1st - 3rd)
  • Tri-State Tournament in New Jersey (July 9th - 11th)

We will have 10 practices to prepare for the tournaments and increase the skills of the players. All practices will be intense, fast paced and patterned on the college model.  Practices will be held on Georgetown University's Multi-Sport Field:

10 June (Thurs) 5:30 - 7:30
