2012 SPRING BOYS TEAMS

Boys Spring Team Tryouts and Team Placement Information- 

All tryouts will take place at Georgetown University's Game Field (see dates and times below).  Players are strongly encouraged to attend both tryout sessions if at all possible.  If that is a problem - please let Matt Breslin know at breslinm@breakoutlacrosse.com.

U9 – Blue, White Teams

·         Birthdates - 9/1/02 - 8/31/04

·         Players will be placed on the blue or white team following the first few practices in late February/early March

·         All players who tryout will be placed on a Breakout team

U11 – Blue, White, Red Teams

·         Birthdates - 9/1/00 - 8/31-02

·         Tryout Session #1 - 2/4 - 4:00-5:15

·         Tryout Session #2 - 2/12 - 11:00-12:30

·         All players who tryout for U11 will be placed on a Breakout team

·         Players that make the U11 Blue Team will be eligible to participate in 2012 summer tournaments with Breakout Lacrosse

U13 – Blue, White, Red Teams

·         Birthdates - 9/1/98 - 8/31/00

·         Tryout Session #1 – 2/4 - 5:30 - 7:00

·         Tryout Session #2 - 2/12 - 12:45 - 2:15

·         All players who tryout for U13 will be placed on a Breakout team

·         Players that make the U13 Blue Team will be eligible to participate in 2012 summer tournaments with Breakout Lacrosse

U15 – Blue, White Teams

·         Birthdates - 9/1/96 - 8/31/98

·         Tryout Session #1 - 2/4 - 7:15 - 8:45

·         Tryout Session #2 - 2/12 - 2:30 - 4:00

·         Depending on numbers, some U15 players might not make a Breakout team to optimize playing time at the U15 level

·         Players that make the U15  Blue Team will be eligible to participate in 2012 summer tournaments with Breakout Lacrosse

Boys Spring Team Basic Details & Information:

·         Spring season will be from the end of February to mid-May

·         Players are placed on teams with equally skilled boys so they are comfortable and challenged all season

·         Teams are placed in area leagues that will challenge and encourage the boys to improve every time they step on the field

·         There will be 2 practices a week and at least one game a week in DC metro area (most games are on Saturdays)

·         Boys Team Practice locations (all are in DC) – Jelleff Field, Wilson High School, St. Albans School, Horace Mann Elementary School
